Raymond O Malenfant, 79 of Las Vegas NV passed away on Sunday, March 17th. Born in Caribou, ME to Leon Malenfant, Sr and Cecille Ouellette. He lived the majority of his life in the Pioneer Valley and upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the Army and served his country. He began his lifelong career as a Cement Mason in the early 70's. He then worked as a Foreman and Finisher for decades at Pioneer Valley Concrete Service. Work was his passion and telling 'tall tales' to all gullible parties. He enjoyed gardening, home projects and staying busy. He was an avid cribbage player and was a member of the ACC in Las Vegas, NV. Ray was the 11th child of a large family of 15 children, all born and raised in Caribou, ME. He leaves behind his two children, Glenn Malenfant of Haganta, Guam and Michelle Scoma of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Rebecca Dedekind of San Diego, CA and Michael Dedekind of Las Vegas, NV. Burial will be scheduled at a later date in Caribou, ME. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ray's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
