In Loving Memory of Regina Connolly

Regina Ellen Connolly, 'Gennie' to some, passed away at age 72, on March 2, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV. She was born December 17, 1951, to parents Edward William Connolly and Theresa Hickey Ryan. Her siblings included Edward Connolly and Patrick Connolly.

Regina graduated from Suffolk County Community College as a Registered Nurse. She will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and generous person who made a difference in the lives of so many. Her legacy of love and service will live on through her family, friends, and the countless patients whose lives she touched during her career as a nurse.

Regina enjoyed dancing, music, caring for her dogs, spoiling her grandchildren, potting plants, gardening in the yard, reading, attending off Broadway shows, dining out, and loved the ocean.

She is survived by her three daughters, Heather Cereola, Theresa Grimes, and Elizabeth Costello; ex-husband George Hennigan; granddaughter Abigail Cereola; grandsons Matthew Cereola, Thomas Grimes, Ryan Grimes, Finnegan Costello, George Costello; and son in laws Michael Grimes and Patrick Costello. Her dog Coco, passed away four days later on 03/06/24, likely from a broken heart. She was predeceased by her dog Bella.

Regina wished to have a celebration of life in her honor. Details to come.
