It is with great sadness that we announce that Renee Sharon (Schwartz) Premack of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. Born on September 3, 1945 to Miriam and Ted Schwartz in San Antonio, Texas, Renee and her family later moved to Chicago, Illinois. With initial dreams of becoming a flight attendant for Pan Am Airlines, Renee instead decided to focus on her family and chose a career in teaching. She became a devoted and caring elementary school teacher working both before and after school programs to reach as many students as possible. Her decades-long teaching career in the Chicago Public Schools was rewarding for both her and all those she taught. Renee, along with her husband Joe, relocated to Las Vegas in 1999. They had long dreamed of moving west, and once they made that dream a reality, they were able to enjoy desert life to its fullest, taking advantage of the weather, restaurants, casinos, and all that the southwest has to offer. She and Joe shared a love of traveling and visited numerous countries during their time together. Renee was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe. They were married for 43 years before Joe passed away earlier this year. Renee is survived by her children Jennifer Newton (Brandon), Jason Allswang (Erika), and her stepson Daniel Premack (Ted). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Emily, Tyler, Sydney, Jack, Noah, Mason, and Carter. A graveside service is planned for Wednesday November 19th, at noon at Woodlawn Cemetery in Las Vegas.
