Obituary

Rhonda Errolyn Pantel, 60, of ‪Las Vegas, Nevada passed away August 24, 2023. She was born to Esther and James Ingram on July 24, 1963 in Long Beach, California. Raised in Lakewood, CA, she graduated from Lakewood High School in 1981 before moving to Las Vegas with her parents. She married her husband Adam in 1992, after having their eldest daughter. Rhonda worked in property management and childcare, two fields she adored. But her real passion was caring for her family. Her family was her entire world. She was born to be a mother. You'd be hard pressed to find a woman who loved being a mother more than Rhonda. She was so incredibly warm, she always wanted to make people feel loved and well cared for. She was the most selfless person anyone could have had the pleasure of knowing. Rhonda lived her life encompassed by love. She was a lifelong football fanatic, loving the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers specifically. She loved animals, and throughout her life she had numerous beloved pets. Her immense compassion for animals led her to regularly donate to shelters. Rhonda loved being at the beach. Since childhood, it was like she had saltwater in her veins. She could sit South of Lifeguard Tower #3 in Huntington Beach, or even on the pier, for hours on end; just staring at the ocean, watching the seagulls and surfers. Rhonda was also an avid reader, particularly loving the Kay Scarpetta series. Once she picked up a book, she'd get so lost in it you would never be able to pull her focus. She always had a smile on her face and had a golden sense of humor. She loved going dancing and hearing live music: anything from rock and heavy metal concerts to local lounge singers. Going out dancing is a hobby she fondly shared with her mother. Rhonda was preceded in death by her Bubbe and Zaide, Dora and Folick Leider. Rhonda is survived by her two daughters, Alexandria and Natasha; her husband Adam; her parents Esther and James; her cousin Rabbi Moishe Leider of San Diego; and her many family members in California, New York, and Toronto, Canada.

Burial took place at Bunker's Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
