Richard R. Bode, age 65, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born August 29, 1960 in Canada. He grew up on a farm in Okemos, Michigan and attended Okemos High School. Here he fell in love with sports and cars. He raised his two sons in Howell, Michigan. He became heavily involved in coaching little league baseball and basketball. He became a mentor to a lot of kids.

He moved to Las Vegas in 2011 to care for his parents. He loved his dog Jasmine, music, dancing, gambling and sports......especially Detroit teams and

Michigan State University.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Myrtice Bode and his sister Janet Fowler (Ron). He is survived by his wife Alena (Sheehan), sister Diane (John Hinson); sons, Robert (Carrie) and Christopher (Michelle) and granddaughters Hailey Kate and Scarlett; and nieces Jolene and Ella.

Memorial Service to be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Care Cremation and Burial, 5070 Arville Street, #14, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118 with gathering time starting at 10:00am, Memorial Service at 11:00am.

Richard will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. May he sleep with the Angels.
