Richard Larson, 81, of Minnesota, California and Las Vegas NV, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 27, 2025.
Richard was born in Graceville MN, and spent his life dedicated to his family. He worked as a retail vice president and a motor home salesman, where his leadership and hard work left a lasting impact. Beyond his professional life, Richard was an avid lover of camping, reading, watching movies, and tuning into Fox News. More than anything, he cared deeply for his family, always putting them first.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Larson; his children, Kevin (Kim) Larson, Jacqui Larson, Stephanie (Pete) Larson-Hashagen and Theresa (Brian) Murphy; his grandchildren, Joshua and Dakotah Douglas, Makaela and Jonah Hashagen, Chailee and Carley Larson, and Jordan and Ava Murphy; and his great-granddaughter, Astoria Douglas. He is also survived by his sister Beverly Geyer, as well as his brother, David Larson, and sister-in-law, Julie Larson. Richard is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jennings and Gladys Larson, and his children Paul and Michele Larson.
A funeral service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Community 130 North Pecos Road Henderson NV 89074 on April 12th at 10am. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in honoring Richard's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help with funeral expenses and to support Kathryn during this difficult time.
