Obituary

Robert Koll Altman ("Bob") May 17, 1962 - March 9, 2025 Henderson, Nevada Robert Koll Altman, known to friends and family as Bob, passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 62, in Henderson, Nevada. Born on May 17, 1962, Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a true adventurer who lived life with an infectious joy. Bob had a distinguished career as a senior IT business analyst and application architect, with a notable achievement of earning his MBA. His work ethic was unparalleled, and his intellect and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends. Despite his professional success, it was his adventurous spirit and sense of humor that defined him most. An avid traveler, Bob first fell in love with Latin America, where he met his beloved wife, Grace. His love of adventure took him across Europe and even to China, where Bob worked for a year. Bob's passion for travel and discovery was only matched by his love for his family and his desire to live life to the fullest. A non-apologetic skateboarder well into his 60s, Bob remained active throughout his life. Recently, he proudly purchased a paddle skateboard, which he rode with overflowing glee, even if it made him look a little ridiculous at times. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Grace Altman; his children, Andrew, John, Robert, and Diamond; and his two beloved grandchildren, Kiana and Chloe. Bob is also survived by his brother, David Altman, and many friends and extended family who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Elaine Altman. A memorial service celebrating Bob's remarkable life will be held on March 14, 2025 at 1pm at King David Cemetery, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120 . Bob's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, especially through the love he shared with his family and the adventurous spirit he brought to every corner of the world. Innovation is not "thinking outside of the box", it is not seeing a box to think out of. Ideas are everywhere! - Bob Altman
