Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle, Robert J. Evans of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on March 17, 2024 at the age of 96. Robert was the loving husband of Anne M. Evans for 58 years and the mother of Robert J. Evans II (wife Eleanor Evans) of Levittown, Pennsylvania, Sean Evans (wife Heather Evans) of Las Vegas, Cyndy McPherson (husband Darrell McPherson) of Wilmington, Delaware and Michelle Evans (husband David Meier) of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Robert is also survived by sister Kathleen Evans, brother George Evans, sister-in-law Mary Jane Evans and his grandchildren Brandon Evans, Colin Evans, Veronica Evans, Vivienne Evans, Megan Heisterman (Dare Heisterman), Maddie Simenthal (Ivan Simenthal), Zachary Evans, Riley Mullen, Amy Silon, Krista Silon, Finn Meier and Sean Meier and great grandchildren Indy Simenthal, Ezra Simenthal and Boden Heisterman. He is proceeded in repose by his father George Evans, mother Helen Evans, aunt Mary Evans and brother William Evans.

Robert was born in Trenton, New Jersey, enlisted in the Navy at 18 and served at the end of WWII. He graduated from Seton Hall University in 1950 and completed his medical degree from University College in Dublin, Ireland and worked for 30 years as a urologist in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

For most of his life, Robert enjoyed playing golf with friends and had a regular game every Saturday morning. He was a devout Catholic who cherished his family and was known for his sociable nature, often sharing a good story or effortlessly charming those he encountered. He enjoyed a good meal with a refreshing beer or touch of scotch. He will be missed by his family, church family and friends.
