Sean Michael Chilipka, 51, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on June 18, 2026, at Dignity Health San Martin Campus following a lifelong history with Crohn's disease.

Born on August 17, 1974, in Edison, New Jersey, Sean was the son of George and Angela Chilipka. He grew up in New Jersey, graduating from West Morris High School before attending County College of Morristown.

In New Jersey, Sean held various positions as a Lead Computer Operator for Scientific Games; Computer Operator at Hackettstown Hospital; Network Technician for Financial Resources Federal Credit Union at Johnson & Johnson; and Systems Administrator at The Trizetto Group.

In 2008, Sean relocated to Las Vegas as a Technical Support Engineer at IGT, bringing expertise and support for gaming systems. He held numerous gaming licenses in various states and tribal jurisdictions. Building on experience at IGT, Sean previously served as a Senior Application Engineer at MGM Resorts.

Outside of work, Sean enjoyed spending his free time playing pickleball, baseball, target shooting, bowling, and camping.

Sean is survived by his parents, George and Angela Chilipka of Rocky Mount, Virginia; his brother, Eric Chilipka of Rocky Mount, Virginia; his grandmother, Elizabeth Chilipka of Las Vegas, Nevada; his aunt and uncle, Robert and Helen Altieri of Marlboro, New Jersey; and his aunt and uncle, Geza and Denise Oltay of Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfonso and Jennifer Altieri, George Chilipka Sr., and his aunt and uncle, Benjamin and Yvonne Zelinski.

Private services will be held by his immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation in Sean's memory. Donations may be sent to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation National Headquarters.
