Seiki Brian Tamura, a beloved father, passionate chef, and talented musician, passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 69. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Seiki came to the United States as a teenager through an exchange program, fueled by his dreams of becoming a rock star. A creative spirit, Seiki studied art and developed a deep love for music, becoming an avid guitarist and drummer. His passion for cooking was equally profound, leading him to open his own catering truck, where he shared his culinary talents with the community. In 1988, Seiki moved to Las Vegas, where he worked tirelessly to build his career in the culinary world. He started as a lead cook and earned promotions to sous chef and room chef, showcasing his dedication and skill. Seiki was instrumental in the opening of several renowned establishments, including Treasure Island and the Paris Hotel, where he left a lasting impact on the dining experiences of countless guests. An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, Seiki brought enthusiasm and joy to every game day. He also had a fondness for sushi and a love for all things Disney, often sharing these passions with his family and friends. Seiki is survived by his cherished son, Chris Tamura, as well as his beloved dog, Hachico, and cat, Denora. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
