Steven "Steve" Royce Henderson II, 43, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on March 18, 2025. Born on August 17, 1981, in Torrance, California, Steve was the beloved son of Steve and Karen Henderson. He grew up surrounded by the love of his family, including his siblings Chris, Eric, Amie, and Sean.
Steve attended Green Valley High School and furthered his education at the Sonoran Desert Institute. A proud United States Army veteran, Steve bravely served his country overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His commitment to service was unwavering, and his courage will always be remembered.
Following his military service, Steve continued to pursue his passion for firearms. He became a credentialed firearms technician and worked as a firearms sales associate in Henderson, NV. His deep knowledge and dedication to his craft made him a respected figure in his field.
Steve had a wide range of interests and hobbies, including gunsmithing, shooting, boating, fishing, hiking, music, and reading. Known for his clever wit, genuine love for animals, and warm sense of humor, Steve brought laughter and joy to those around him. He deeply cherished time spent with family and friends.
Steve is survived by his parents Steve and Karen Henderson; grandmother, Mary Jo Law; siblings Chris, Eric, Amie, and Sean; three sisters-in-law; two nieces; a nephew; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. His presence, love, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., with a graveside blessing to follow the chapel service. A celebration of life will be held at approximately 3:00 p.m. at the home of Sean and Jenna Henderson in Henderson, NV.
