Susan Bizauskas, affectionately known as “Susie,” passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, while in hospice care. She was born on April 4, 1940, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Susan proudly served in the United States Navy for several years, a chapter of her life that reflected her strength, dedication, and commitment to serving her country. Following her military service, Susan dedicated more than 20 years of her life to working for the police department, where she continued her commitment to serving her community.

Above all, Susan cherished her family. She was a loving mother to three children and a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren. Her family was an important part of her life, and she will be remembered for the love and memories she shared with those closest to her.

Susan had a lifelong fondness for crime shows and books. She could often be found enjoying a good mystery, following a captivating criminal case, or getting lost in the pages of a crime novel.

Susan will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all those whose lives she touched.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
