Teofilo 'Tweedy Bird' Ramirez Jr., a beloved soul with an unparalleled zest for life, passed away on December 15, 2023, at his residence in Las Vegas, NV. Born on September 19, 1945, in Oxnard, CA, to Teofilo Ramirez and Emilia Gomez Ramirez, Tweedy Bird's life was a tapestry of laughter, music, and boundless love. Tweedy was a proud graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln Heights, East Los Angeles. His journey continued as he served in the Army from 1963 to 1969, showcasing his dedication and love for his country. Following his military service, he retired from Zennith Whirlpool in Ontario, CA, in 2005. A family man through and through, Tweedy is survived by his siblings Jenny, Maria, Martha (Marty), and Johnny. His legacy lives on through his children: Juanita Ramirez Diaz, Teofilo Ramirez III, and Esperanza Emilia Ramirez Meisner. He adored and was adored by his grandchildren Avery, Perfecto, Cesar, Tony, Noelle, Tatum, Teofilo Shane, Harmony, Zayda, Max, and great-grandchildren Maddux and Jade. Tweedy's life was an ode to the arts. A passionate singer and songwriter, he found solace and joy in music and acting. His infectious laughter and undeniable charisma made him the life of every party. The moment Tweedy Bird entered a room, it lit up with the warmth of his presence. Known for his unique style and swag, Tweedy embraced authenticity. His heart of gold shone through in every interaction, and he approached life with a genuine love for people. He was a born performer, sharing his music and laughter generously with the world. Tweedy's impact reached far beyond his immediate circle.
