Timothy "Tim" Howard Avance, 55, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, March 21, 2026. His journey came to a peaceful end on the first day of spring, following a long and courageous battle with cancer—a fight he met with incredible strength and a steadfast refusal to ever surrender.

Born on April 14, 1970, in Fairbanks, Alaska, Tim moved to Las Vegas with his family as a child and remained a resident for 46 years. He was a dedicated professional, serving for over 12 years as an Electronic Media Compliance Specialist with Allegiant Airlines, where his reliability and quiet presence were staples of the workplace.

Tim was known for his self-reliant and reserved nature. He was a man who enjoyed his own space and the simple, quiet pleasures of life, particularly the strategy and focus of table-top and online games. While he was a man of few words, he deeply valued the steadfast bond he shared with his best friend, Jamila Laroussi.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Howard Ed Avance. He is survived by his devoted mother, Linda C. Avance, and his sister, Theresa Avance. His family and those who knew him will long remember the resilience he showed throughout his life.
