William Jennings Patterson Jr.

William Jennings Patterson Jr., age 73, of the City of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Born on December 17, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, William was the beloved son of William Jennings Patterson Sr. and Lorraine Christine Patterson (Bojarski). He lived a life marked by intelligence, passion, and deep devotion to those he loved.

William was deeply admired and cherished by his family. He is survived by his loving domestic partner, Terri Zaremba; his daughter, Jessica Dawson; son-in-law, Jeremy Dawson; his treasured grandchildren, Madison and Sydney; his son, William Patterson, and goddaughter/niece, Arlene.

He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, James Patterson.

William's professional and personal life was shaped by a profound appreciation for architecture, especially the visionary work of Frank Lloyd Wright. He found joy in thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and the beauty of structures that stood the test of time.

Beyond his love of architecture, William enjoyed watching sports with his family, spending time fishing, and embracing the peace and freedom of retirement. He found happiness in life's simple pleasures and in the company of those closest to him.

His children carry with them a deep sense of pride in the man he was and the life he built. His wisdom, strength, and love will remain a guiding presence in their lives.

There will be no public service or memorial. The family will hold a private ceremony at Brandy Lake to honor and celebrate William's life.

William's legacy will live in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
