William R. “Uncle Billy” Stores Jr., 79, passed away on September 2, 2026. He was born on March 24, 1947, in Yonkers, New York, to Naomi E. and William Stores Sr.

William was a proud Vietnam veteran who served his country and later retired. Affectionately known as “Uncle Billy,” he will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Tuwana and Amber Stores, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Whendy Robinson Stores; his parents; and his sisters, Kathleen, Yvonne, Maxine, and Cheryl.

William will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
