Obituary

Willie G. Bryant, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on November 24, 1935, in Perla, Arkansas, Willie was the cherished son of Willie C. and Cleo D. Bryant. He was raised alongside his sister, Jenell B. Allen, who preceded him in death.
Willie spent much of his life in Ohio, where he built a long and honorable career at J & L Steel, later known as LTV Steel Company. Known for his strong work ethic and unwavering spirit, Willie took pride in his family and being a steady, joyful presence in the lives of those around him.
In his free time, Willie found great happiness in hunting, fishing, and making people laugh. His sense of humor, warm smile, and kind heart touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Later in life, Willie moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spent his days enjoying the company of his devoted wife, Joanne Bryant, along with many dear friends and neighbors.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 10 years, Joanne Bryant; his five children, Ramona, Johnny, Karmin, Deborah, and Stacy; a host of stepchildren; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pricilla Davis.
Willie's life was a beautiful testament to the power of love, laughter, and family. His legacy will continue through the countless memories he created and the lives he touched.
A celebration of Willie's life will be held at a later date. The family invites all who knew and loved him to join in honoring a life well-lived and deeply loved.
