Funeral services
We believe strongly in helping families choose the right service options at an affordable price. Our traditional services offer families experiencing grief a choice on how they want to memorialize their loved one.
Traditional funeral services
A traditional burial offers a meaningful way for family and friends to gather, share memories, and find comfort during this difficult time. Our dedicated team is here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support in every decision, from selecting the perfect casket to planning a heartfelt ceremony.
To keep costs transparent and affordable compared to corporate facilities, we focus on simplicity and personalized care. We specialize in viewings and funeral services—whether held in our on-site chapel, your house of worship, or the cemetery. Our team is highly experienced in honoring the unique customs of all faiths, including Jewish taharas, Latter-Day Saint family dressings, and Catholic Funeral Masses. We also provide a private family room for viewings prior to services, and offer full assistance with ordering flowers and designing custom memorial stationery.
When you hire a funeral home to handle the arrangements of your loved one, you are asking that funeral home to care for them, not an independent contractor or third party. With Care Cremation & Burial, you work directly with the owner's, Aaron and Courtney Forgey. As Las Vegas natives, they take great pride in caring for each and every family.
Visitation
A funeral visitation is a time when family and friends can come together to pay their respects to the loved one who has passed away. It usually takes place before the funeral service. During the visitation, people can view the casket, share memories, and offer support to the family. It’s a more relaxed and informal setting, giving everyone a chance to say goodbye in their own way.
Funeral service
The funeral service can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue the family chooses. We work with our families to design a service that honors their loved one with stories, music, or scripture that reflects their life. The funeral provides a time for everyone to say goodbye, find comfort in each other, and celebrate the life of their loved one.
Graveside services
At the graveside, family and friends gather at the cemetery to say their final goodbyes. Sometimes, a few words or prayers are spoken by a minister, family member, or friend. In some cases, people may place flowers or handfuls of dirt on the casket as a sign of respect and farewell. The burial provides a moment of closure, allowing everyone to reflect on their loved one’s life. At the burial the casket is lowered and placed in the ground. A marker or headstone may be placed as a permanent monument to your loved one.
