Services overview

Navigating the loss of a loved one is one of life’s most difficult experiences. Our goal is to provide you with clear, honest guidance and unwavering support during this challenging time. We offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to honor your loved one's unique life, respect your family's traditions, and accommodate your financial needs.

Families Choosing
Cremation

We believe in transparency.

There are many factors that we find important for families to understand: where a loved one is being sheltered and cared for, who is completing the cremation and when will the cremation occur. Many cremation providers do not clearly disclose where the loved one is or who is handling the cremation. Often times other funeral homes and crematories use confusing or unclear language or excuses to delay the process, leaving a family wondering when or where the cremation will occur. We pride ourselves on clear and concise communication.

Care Cremation & Burial handles all arrangements for a loved one; from time of transfer to our location by our staff, on-site shelter, as well as cremation, every loved one is kept with us throughout the process.

We are able to proceed with cremation in a reasonable time, not like many funeral homes that rely on outsourcing the cremation. (Once the doctor has signed the death certificate, which can take a few days depending on the cooperation of the doctor and medical staff.)

Care Cremation & Burial can also receive your loved one from another funeral home including a death that involved the Clark County Coroner. You have the right to select a funeral home and crematory.

For more information and help, please call us anytime, day or night.

Why Choose Us For Cremation?

With Care Cremation & Burial, we keep our prices low to help serve families at their worst possible time. Our cremation without formal services starts at $1,100.

Our cremation arrangements include:

  • Transfer to Care by our licensed staff.
  • Meeting the family to arrange for the cremation.
  • Collecting and filing the information for the death certificate; notifying Social Security of the death.
  • Shelter and care of the loved one at our on-site holding facility.
  • "A Time to Say Goodbye"- every family is given the opportunity to say goodbye and make positive identification of their loved one at our facility, at no charge.
  • Completion of the cremation using a simple cremation container*, at our on-site crematory and return of the cremated remains to family.
  • Some families will purchase an urn, but one is not required. We include a rigid plastic container to contain the loved one's cremated remains.

Some additional costs the family would pay:

  • State/County Fee ($25, one-time fee)
  • Each certified copy of the death certificate is $25 each and we will order and receive the certified copies for the family from the Southern Nevada Health District at no additional cost.

Total $1,100

Care Cremation & Burial can also provide arrangements for viewing and funeral prior to cremation. Please contact us to learn more.

We pride ourselves on clear and transparent pricing. There are no additional charges for family requests, like locks of hair, fingerprinting or if there is a second licensed staff member needed for a death at a home. If there is a pacemaker, there is no charge for our licensed staff to remove it prior to cremation. We do not charge a handling fee to order or receive certified death certificates. The county charges sales tax depending on the selection of merchandise items. In the event that the family cannot find an urn or keepsake in our selection, we charge a fee to place the cremated remains into the item, so the family does not have to do it themselves.

There is never a fee to be able to make positive identification of a loved one and to say goodbye, but some families desire to be present at the time of cremation, scheduling and witnessing the start of the cremation, at the request of the family, is $400. It is not a requirement to be present when the cremation occurs.

*Due to a loved one's stature or weight, it can be necessary to purchase a more rigid cremation container, as well as other special handling fees, all of which can be discussed with our staff.

If there are any questions, our staff stands ready to answer any and all of your families' questions.

Families Choosing
Burial

When you hire a funeral home to handle the arrangements of your loved one, you are asking that funeral home to care for them. With Care Cremation & Burial, you work directly with our dedicated staff, from the time of transport as well as all preparation and care. Owners Aaron and Courtney Forgey are Las Vegas natives and take great pride in caring for each and every family.

We designed our location to be simple and transparent, and specialize in viewing, funerals and services at our on-site chapel, your house of worship or cemetery. We have a chapel on-site where viewing, memorials, funerals and celebration of life services can take place.

We specialize in serving all religious groups, paying close attention to the individual needs of families choosing burial with differing religious backgrounds. We truly care about each religious group and honoring their rituals and customs. We can help to order flowers as well as custom create memorial stationary.
